This is Frank.
Frank was an amazing feline friend of mine for about a year. I fostered him for a rescue and soon realized it was a major fail - he was my 'soul cat'.
Shortly after I adopted him, I noticed a mass on his head. I took him into my vet and it was found to be a Mast Cell tumor.
Frank went to see the wonderful Oncologists at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. We started him on some chemo with the hopes that we could prolong his life and keep him comfortable. Sadly, he reacted negatively to the chemo and our options were limited. I chose to work with my vet to keep him comfortable for as long as possible.
A few months later, Frank told me it was time to go home. It was the hardest decision I've ever made.
I support Animal Research for Frank and for all the animals. Animal Research helps develop medications and treatments for cancer!
