Eighteen months later, scientists from the Fujita Health University are proving that original paper quite wrong. They took the same data as the original paper and studied different gene expression pathways and discovered that mice are indeed an excellent model for inflammatory diseases in humans which will be remarkably helpful in developing new treatments.
